Stop With The Labels!
Someone says, education informs you, it lifts you up, it helps you to know your rights, it doesn't make you a feminist. It simply makes you aware of your surrounding "
I hope some people will understand this and let some women breathe. It Is not always about competition. No one wants to compete with you on anything. We are both unique genders created by Allah (S.W.A) and each has his/her natural, cultural, religious and distinct roles to play. There is a reason why we both appeal to each other. It is because each shines brighter in their distinct spaces.
That a woman(educated) doesn't accept you looking down on her or toppling on her individual rights as a human, as a citizen of a free nation, doesn't mean she is being deviant or domineering. She is just being human acting within her rights which should never be infringe upon in the first place.
A woman isn't a slave to begin with. This isn't the Jahiliyya period. This is the period of enlightenment, the time of Islam. The time after hijra Need i remind you that men and women are equal in the sight of Allah, except he who has more iman.
Stop reading too much meaning into everything. Stop giving yourself headache about people who doesn't even bother about you. Until someone say I belong to this movement DONT label them.
About movement. Now let's have some crash lecture on feminism:
Feminism is a movement champion by both genders. It Is not just women fighting women's rights. The early pioneers were of course women, but today the struggle is fought by both genders. Yes, I mean men are internally and collaboratively working assiduously with women to liberate women from all form of societal injustices. This is a human rights issue tor those who are championing this cause, and like I said, the movement has followers from male and female member of different societies. It is a movement that is fighting patriarchal system. The cause has its set of ideals, there are Feminists who believe in equity, others believe in equallity and some believe in both equity and equality. It has it branches also, from cultural to liberal, etc.
I will stop here and encourage you to go read further on what Feminism is. Read more to know better and save yourself misidentifying every educated woman. Stop feeling threatened by empowered women. Go understand and work on your approach. And honestly, this is also for women who are repeatedly showing this pattern of misconception. And those anywhere-belle-face-activsts. Go study up.
This paranoia is needless, utterly silly.
You being judgemental and boxing every woman with a term that suits and justify your Insecurity.
STOP!
STOP IT!
I won't lecture again.
PLEASE STOP!
Thank you!
